- Search History: Recent hymn numbers or titles searched within the app interface to accelerate repeat lookups.
- Personal Annotations: Any custom notes or reflections you choose to attach to specific hymn lyrics.
- Interface Preferences: Selected font size, line spacing, language preferences (e.g. Shona, Ndebele, English), and display theme (Dark Mode / High Contrast / Light Mode).
4. Device Permissions & Explicit Justification
To provide audio hymn playback and keep the hymnal library updated, Nketa 8 Baptist Hymnals requests only the minimum essential operating system permissions:

Purpose: Allows optional devotional reminders or notification controls for the currently playing audio tune. You can disable notifications at any time via your device settings without affecting the rest of the application.
